Before you purchase your Basset pup PLEASE do your research
Go to dog shows, Visit Basset breeders kennels and ask lots of questions.
Reputable breeders are only too happy to have you visit their kennels and dogs.

  Puppies available to Suitable Approved Homes Only.

Are the kennels clean? 
Are the dogs well cared for?
Do the breeders have knowledge about the breed?
Do they offer ongoing support and advise after you take your pup home?
Is the pup Health checked and vaccinated? 
Will the breeder take the pup back if you can no longer care for it? 
Is the breeder genuinely interested in where the pup will be living? 
Did the breeder ask you lots of questions about your lifestyle? 
 Don’t buy Basset Hound pups from a pet shop or Back yard Breeder!  
 

My first priority is for the pups future welfare. 
 There are many people Profiting from "Puppy Farming Bassets". Anyone can become a "Registered Breeder".But with careful and thorough research on your part you will be able to pick the Reputable breeder that has the Basset Hounds welfare at heart!  These are the breeders that research and spend many hours of time, money and effort on their breeding program. My obligations and responsibilities
1-  All pups are Vaccinated, Health Checked, Wormed , Microchiped and Health Insured.

 2- A puppy starter kit from Pro Plan, and extensive Basset care

  book and information on caring for your new puppy.

 3- All pups come with Genuine ANKC Limited register Papers.

 4- All my pups (Male and Female) leave me fully desexed.

 5- We offer full support when you purchase your pup and

   continued follow up assistance after you take your dog home.

 6- All pups are sold with purchase contracts for your protection and also the pups.

 7- All owners vetted to make sure we match you with the right pup for your lifestyle.

 8- To breed and raise highly social and healthy puppies .

 As a responsible breeder it is my duty to protect their welfare.

Member of the B.H.C. of Victoria and New South Wales and Basset Hound Club of America   and a Registered breeder and Member of the South Australian Canine Association.

 Our main emphasis is on producing Basset Hounds that mirror the ANKC breed standard, and we continually strive to breed for temperament, soundness, movement and type.

We do our up most to produce highly social puppies that will make themselves at home in any environment. 

We only have one or two litters per year, with thoughtful breeding using only the best Dogs and Bitches from Australia and Overseas.  

A lot of time is taken researching pedigrees and bloodlines and genetics.

Baronbass Bassets are  fed exclusively on PRO PLAN.
